Born and reared in Philadelphia, Mrs. Mobley lived a number of years in Jackson where she was an inspector for the Presto Manufacturing Co. before making her home in Utica. She was a member of Utica United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Sherman and Claudia Stokes Whitehead; her husband, Robert "Duba" Mobley; a son, David Lewis; two brothers, Harold Boswell and Bennie Whitehead; and her sister, Bonnie Clark.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Kirkland of Utica; a son, Robert Mobley Jr. of Utica; one sister, Margie Lewis of Philadelphia, Miss.; four brothers, Gerald Whitehead of Mountain View, Ark., Doice Whitehead of Lake Charles, La., and Jim Whitehead and Douglas Whitehead, both of Philadelphia, Miss.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 am. Saturday at Utica United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold Manning officiating. Burial will follow at the Mobley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Utica until the service.
