Yates Cheatham Jackson, 101 of Landrum died January 17, 2013. He was son of the late Cheatham and Dora Gibbs Jackson and husband of the late Francis Page Jackson. He worked at Fairforest Mill and at the Bigelow Plant. He was a member of Landrum First Baptist Church where he was a longtime member of the Men's Sunday School Class and served in the US Army during WWII.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many caring friends.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00pm Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Donnan Lawson and Rev. Andy Allen. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
