Aaron Otis "Bo" Ingram Sr., 81, Fayetteville, Georgia, died February 20, 2002. He was born March 23, 1920 in Fayetteville, the son of Lum Alfred and Mattie Lena Blalock Ingram. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Raven Ingram, January 6, 2002. He served in World War II as a 2nd lieutenant in the United States Army and was a longtime member of the Fayetteville Baptist Church. He was formerly chairman of the Ware County Commissioners in the late 1940s and early 1950s, was manager of Blalock Machinery in Waycross, GA, and served as adjutant in Washington D.C. for congresswoman Iris Blitch, Ware County. In Fayetteville, he served as chief of the volunteer fire department, served as a Fayette County sheriff's deputy, was mayor of Fayetteville in the late 1960s, was in the charter Emergency Medical Technician class in 1975 for the county, owned and operated a number of businesses in Fayetteville, including a grocery store, a washeteria, a supermarket, an TV and appliance, a florist and most recently, the Glynn Wedding Chapel.

Survivors include a son, A.O. (Margaret) Ingram Jr., Conyers; daughters, Judy (Tommy) Rivers, Haddam, Connecticut, and Bonnie Epps (Rev. Dr. Rick) Long, Peachtree City; grandchildren, David (Dana) Epps, Dr. Ralph (Glynn) Garramone, Paul (June) Johnson, Hilary Ingram, Meg Ingram, and Olivia Epps; great-grandchildren, Lauren Epps, Grace Garramone, Max Garramone, Isabell Johnson; a brother, L.A. (Marjorie) Ingram, Tampa, Florida; a sister, Mary Dan (Robert) Miller, Savannah, GA; and an aunt, Kathleen Blalock Brock, Fayetteville.

Services were at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Fayetteville, with Rev. Dr. Rick Long and Rev. Steve Safreed officiating. Interment at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City.
