Funeral services to honor her life will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Mrs. Cecile will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Vergil "Joe" Miller, in Calvary Cemetery.
Cecile was born in Evangeline, LA to the late Leonard Daigle and the late Marelia LeJeune Daigle on February 2, 1924. She was a homemaker and devoted her life to raising her children and taking care of her husband. She was a very kind and caring person who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed going to the beach, French dances, and she enjoyed eating crabs.
Cecile is survived by her two sons and their wives, one daughter and her husband, her daughter-in-law, one brother, six sisters, ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Cecile now rest in Heaven with her beloved family who preceded her in death: her parents, Leonard and Marelia Daigle; her husband, Vergil "Joe" Miller; one son, Kenneth Miller; two grandchildren, Kirk Allen Miller and Christi Miller; two great grandchildren, Chase Augustine and Marcus Miller; her three brothers, LeRoy, Wilson, and Elray Daigle; and two sisters, Ella Mae Deshotel and Ruth Miller.
