Scarborough died March 4, 2005, in Nacogdoches. Born April 27, 1914, in Nacogdoches, she was the daughter of Geneva Boozer and Charles M. Barker. She was a chief operator clerk for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for more than thirty-eight years and she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Nacogdoches Treatment Center's Alzheimer Day Activity Program, 119 Hughes St., Nacogdoches, TX 75961. Laird Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
