At Barker
BARKER, Jan. 20 — Services for
Louis P. Arnold, 83, who died at
his home, Quaker Street, Friday
afternoon were held at the McKee
Funeral Home Monday at 2 o'clock
with the Rev. Paul Huyett, pastor
of the Barker Methodist Church,
officiating. Burial was at the Somerset
Cemetery. Members of the
Wesley Class, to which he belonged,
were bearers.
He was a member of the Somerset
Union Methodist Church, taking
an active part in all church
work, and holding a trusteeship in
the church at the time of his death. *
He also belonged to the Wesley |
Class of the church. He was a
former member of Barker Lodge,
IOOF, and of the Somerset Grange.
Mr. Arnold is survived by his
wife, Frances Seeley Arnold, one
son, Paul, of Somerset, and four
grandchildren. He was a well-
known farmer and lived his entire
life on his Lake Road farm, until
poor health forced him to retire.
