Age 61, of Wilmington, passed away suddenly on Friday March 21, 2008 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Born July 9, 1946 in Noblesville, IN, Chloe was a daughter of the late Charles and Cleo Williams-Evans. She was a graduate of Wilmington HS (1964) and attended JJC and the Chicago School of Travel. Chloe was employed for numerous years with Joliet Travel and Tours and Travel Hut of Joliet, and was most recently worked for Target in Shorewood. She greatly enjoyed traveling with her daughter and was an advocate of animal rights and the Anti-Cruelty Society.

Survivors include her loving daughter, Stacie Schmalz and nephew, Steve Evans both of Wilmington; one aunt, Frances Cothen of San Francisco, CA; one uncle, Harry Evans of SC; and numerous cousins and friends, especially Jamie Lawson and Kathy Coots.

Chloe was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Larry Evans; and one sister, Pat (the late John Paul) Butcher.

Visitation will be Wednesday March 26, 2008 from 3PM until time of funeral service 7PM at Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington. Rev. David Lagos-Fonseca and Rev. Shirley Pulgar-Hughes will officiate.

Burial will follow on Thursday March 27th at 1:00PM (EST) in Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville, IN.

Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Chloe's memory to The American Diabetes Assoc. or the Anti-Cruelty Society of IL.
