Clayton Albright, a retired merchant of the Bellview community in Lincoln County, died Tuesday morning in the Baptist Hospital, Nashville, following a long illness. He was 74 years old.

Services were Thursday afternoon at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Isaac Tucker of Shelbyville and the Rev. Ennis Hyman officiating. Burial was in the Riverview Memorial Gardens.

A native of Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Harrison and Hettie Jones Albright, and a member of the Harmony Hill Church of God.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mala Higgins Albright; two daughters, Mrs. Martha Ann Gosnell, Salsbury, North Carolina, and Mrs. Rebecca Oliver, Tullahoma; one son, Billy Joe Albright, Fayetteville; a sister, Mrs. Erdice Tucker, Fayetteville; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
