Harold W. Prai, 89, of Council Bluffs passed away Jan. 1, 2006, at Alegent Health Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha.

Harold was born October 17, 1916, in Prague, Neb., to Joseph F. and Helen (Tvrz) Prai. He was a 1934 graduate of Prague, Neb. High School and graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 1939 with a degree in electrical engineering. He served in the US Army during WWII
and was an Electrical Engineer for OPPD in Omaha for 42 years retiring in 1982. He was a member of American Legion Post #1 in Omaha.

Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Beryl (Yochem) Prai, in 2003.

He is survived by his brother-in-law, Ernie Yochem and wife, Marjorie, of Council Bluffs; nieces, Lisa Dunning and husband, Tony, and Jean Oder; nephews, Terry Yochem and wife, Bev, Gary
Yochem and special friend, Susie Sunderland.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Mortuary.

Funeral Service will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Rev. Marvin Arnpriester will officiate. Interment in Walnut Hill Cemetery with military
rites tendered by American Legion Post #2. A lunch will follow at Broadway United
Methodist Church.
