Roman was born August 8, 1927 in Jamestown , SC to the late Thomas William Brunson and Janie Johnson Brunson. He retired from the U.S. Army with 20 years service. He had worked for many years as an electrical engineer for ADCOR. Roman enjoyed fishing whenever he could go with his friends. He had been a member of West Ashley Independent Baptist Church. He will be remembered as a loving husband ,father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Gloria Hancock Brunson, sons: Roman Eugene Brunson of N. Charleston, SC, Richard Allen Brunson Derry ,NH and Robert I. Brunson of Greenville, SC, a daughter: Ramona L. Greenwood of Taylors, SC and 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
