Diddie (Brewer) Chase. 77. of Wichita Falls passed away on Friday July 3, 2015.


Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Charlie Cemetery with Pastor Chad Stubblefield officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.


Diddie was born on October 18, 1937 in Wichita Falls to the late Lewis and Mary (Bryer) Brewer. She retired after 27 years as a cook for Pioneer Restaurants in Wichita Falls. Diddie spent many hours as a volunteer for the Salvation Army and was a member of the American Legion.


She was preceded in death by her parents her husband Gus L Chase, Sr. and a son Gus L Chase, Jr.


She is survived by her daughter Johnnie Hall of Wichita Falls sons Bobby Hall of Macon Georgia and Bill Hall and wife Donna of Wichita Falls; stepdaughters, Edith Crawford and husband Roy of Blossom, Texas, Nell Mitchell of Edgewood, Texas, Connie Chase and Electra Miller of Rockwall, Texas, step-sons Larry Chase of Canton, Texas add Ronnie Chase and wife Kathy of Rockwall, Texas. She is also survived by a sister Lula Cardin as well as numerous grandchildren nieces and nephews
