Norma Joyce Kimsey was born July 29, 1922 near Simpson, Kansas to Jesse Lewis and Eva Estella Kimsey. She died March 7, 2008, at Integris Bass Medical Center, Enid, Oklahoma.
Norma attended school at Simpson until her senior year when the family moved to Barnard, Kansas. She worked at the St. George Bank, St. George, Kansas, then moved to Oregon. She worked at the U. S. National Bank, Portland, Oregon, and transferred to the St. Helens branch during WWII.
Norma married Joseph Michael Alyward on August 21, 1945. They made their home in Providence, R.I., later returning to Niles, Kansas. Joseph died October 8, 1958.
Norma married Leo DeLacy in Vancouver, Washington in 1959. He died six weeks after their marriage.
Norma and Raymond W. Keeton were married April 27, 1961 in Guymon, Oklahoma. He died November, 12, 1997. Norma worked for the Orienta Coop, Fairview State Bank and for 16 years in the Major County Assessors Office.
Survivors include her children, Mike Alyward of Fairview, Bill Keeton, Shirley Walcott, Pat Burk, Janice Harp of Pawnee, Terry Keeton, Brad Keeton and Chris Keeton; two brothers Lowell and Neil Kimsey; 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
