Vicki Lynn Harrah Fannin, 62, of Smithers, died January 20, 2013, at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley. She was born March 24, 1950, in Smithers, and she was the daughter of the late Raymond Hershey and Norma Lee Bainbridge Harrah.
She was a graduate of the Fayette County school system, Carver Career Center as a medical billing clerk and Garnet School of Nursing as a licensed practical nurse. She worked at Thomas Memorial Hospital and retired from Montgomery General Hospital in May 2001.

She was a born-again Christian who put the love for Christ number one in her life. Her friends and co-workers loved her very much. She was a loving wife, wonderful sister, amazing mother and a magnificent maw maw. The love she had for her family was unconditional.

Surviving Vicki are her husband of 22 years, C. Gayle Fannin; daughters, Deborah L. Griffith and her husband, Terry, Brigit D. Andrews and her husband, Terry, and Aprile L. Rock and her husband, Charles; stepson, Jason T. Fannin and his wife, Dorothy; brothers, Rodney and Richard "Butch" Harrah; grandchildren, Andrea Stover and her husband, Danny, Heather Griffith, Audrianna, Abigail and Amylee Fannin and Travis, Andrew, Caleb and Joshua Rock; and great-grandsons, Dustyn and Braidon Stover.

Service will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Bethel Church, Michigan Avenue, Smithers, with the Rev. David Manley officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park, London.

Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the church.

O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery, is in charge of arrangements.
