Katherine Jean Vashalifski, 84, of Marlborough, beloved wife of John Vashalifski, died Saturday March 3, 2012 at Marlborough Health Care.
Born October 13, 1927 in Richford, VT she was the daughter of the late Ogle and Fannie (Gross) Sawyer. Katherine had lived in Marlborough for most of her life and had retired from the State of Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicle.
Besides her husband John, she is survived by her sons Scott Vashalifski and his wife Donna of Andover, David Vashalifski of Colchester; two former daughters-in-law Denise Vashalifski and Dina Vashalifski; three grandchildren Scott, Tyler, and Devin. She was predeceased by three children Danny, Donna and Pamela.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday March 6th at 11 a.m. in the Spencer Funeral Home 112 Main St. East Hampton with the Rev. Robert Faulhaber officiating.
Burial will follow in Marlborough Cemetery. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home on Tuesday morning from 9:30am until the time of the service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Roy B.
