Dave Archibald Jr, 86 of Houston, Texas passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010. He was born June 26, 1924 in Groesbuck, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife Ila Jackie (Davis) Archibald and parents Albert David Archibald Sr and Laura Olive Rasco twelve brothers and sisters.

Junior served in the United States Army during World War II in the South Pacific.

He is survived by his daughter: Carolyn Gant Janakiev and husband Val; sons: David and wife Norma, Mike and wife Erin, Truman and wife Tia, and Kerry Archibald; sister Doris Irens; eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
