The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at New Hope Church of Christ with Kenneth Randles officiating. Burial was to be in Baker’s Cemetery with New Hope Funeral Home in charge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Willie Baker, two sons, James Baker of New Hope and Charles Baker of Huntsville; a daughter, Mrs. Howard Ray Sibley of Huntsville; a brother, Thomas E. Baker of New Hope; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Baker of Huntsville and Mrs. Hattie Maples of New Hope; six grand-children; four great-grandchildren and one step-great-grand-child.
