Registered Nurse who worked with the Public Health Service and the controversial Tuskegee Syphilis Study. She flourished as a nurse, and became well known as a excellent communicator.
Won the Public Health Service Hobby Award in 1958.
Her role in the Tuskegee study was portrayed in the film "Miss Evers' Boys" in 1997.
