MRS. IDA DIBERT RHODES
A lifelong resident of Claysburg and vicinity, died yesterday forenoon at 10.30 o'clock at her home, following an extended illness. She was a daughter of Jacob M. and Sarah (Ickes) Dibert and was born in Claysburg Nov. 9, 1876. She was united in marriage with Henry H. Rhodes on Nov. 9, 1900, and they resided in Freedom township for a time before taking up their residence in Claysburg. Surviving are the husband, six children, Elmer Rhodes of Wilmington, Del., Mrs. Sarah Pletch of Altoona, Mrs. Catherine Dougherty, Mrs. Hazel Kling, Mrs. Geneva Blazevich and Kenneth Rhodes, all of Claysburg, and twenty-two grandchildren and these sisters and brother: Mrs. Emma J. Leslie, Mrs. H. Claude Burket and Harry Dibert, all of Claysburg. Mrs. Rhodes was a member of the Lutheran church since 1895 and was a member of the Rebekah lodge, No. 474, of Claysburg, the P.O. of A. of Roaring Spring, the Past Noble Grand lodge of Altoona and of the American Legion auxiliary of post No. 522 of Claysburg. Friends are being received at the home.

RHODES--Funeral services for Mrs. Ida (Dibert) Rhodes will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in the Claysburg Lutheran church, in charge of the pastor, Rev. L.J. Karschner, assisted by Rev. C. Clyde Levergood. Interment in the Lutheran cemetery at Claysburg. Friends are being received at the home.
