GOSHEN- David Wayne Cotherman, 52, of Goshen, passed away at 8:50 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2013 at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born on February 14, 1960 in Goshen to James A. and Mary Jo (Smith) Cotherman. David is survived by: his mother, Mary Jo Cotherman of Goshen, 2 sisters, Deborah L. Cotherman of Augusta, GA, and Cheryl A. Cotherman of Fitzgerald, GA, a brother, James A. Cotherman II of Morganton, N.C., and seven aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by a sister Terri Jo and his father James A. Cotherman. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. David worked as a bartender at Double D's in Goshen and was an avid sports enthusiast, who loved the Minnesota Vikings. Memorial donations may be given to the United Cancer Services of Elkhart County or a charity of the donor's choice.
Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.

A burial of his cremated remains will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen. Following the service there will be a reception from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Goshen VFW Post 985.
