Thelma Sinclair Davis, 70, Campbellsville, died Friday, March 23, 1990, at her residence. Davis was a native of Adair County and the daughter of the late Melvin Sinclair and Hallie Burton Sinclair. She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter, Oscar Davis and Linda Cox. She is survived by five sons and five daughters, Rodney Davis, Louisville, Darrell, Terry, Keith and Mark Davis, all of Campbellsville, Caroline Jones of Florida, Cheryl Benningfield of LaGrange, Charlotte Murphy and Frieda Cox, both of Finley, and Cynthia Truitt of Tennessee; 26 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; along with three sisters, Ethel Randolph and Ida Fugua, both of Louisville, and Eltha Feese of Columbia. Several other relatives also survive along with a host of friends. The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 1990, at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Kenneth Blevins officiated.
