MOODY – Jack Watson, 68, of Candlewood Lane, died Monday at his home of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to police.
He was born in Sanford, October 29, 1914, son of Charles C. and Ethel Spendlove Watson.
Watson was formerly purchasing manager for Collins and Aikman.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Lachance Watson of Moody; two sons, Robert Watson of Topsfield, MA and Joel Watson of Boxborough, MA; his mother of Rhode Island; and nine grandchildren.
Prayers are to be said Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Sanford Funeral Home, 145 Main Street, Sanford. The Rev. Raymond Auger of St. Ignatius Church, Sanford is to officiate. Spring interment will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Sanford.
Calling hours will be tonight, from 7-9 at the funeral home.
