He retired from the U.S. Navy in 1960 after 20 years as a Chief Hospital Corpsman. Albert then went to work for the State of CA. Youth Authority retiring there after several years. Mr. Mitchell is survived by his beloved wife Florence. Loving father of Allen Mitchell and step-father of Jeannie Burns. Dear half brother of Helen Sack, Tiny and Bob Schwin. Devoted grandfather of 1 grandchild, 6 step-grandchildren and 19 step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Theresa and daughter Debra. Friends may call Tuesday, October 26, 2004 from 4 til 8PM in Akes Family's "Chapel Of The Chimes" and are invited to attend the Recitation Of The Holy Rosary at 7PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, October 27, 2003 in St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church at 1PM. with Rev. Fr. David Andel officiating.
