Lester died from a massive heart attack when he was 43. He had 5 by passes at age 38.

Buried with only (son) Edward Paul (b 11/12/1974 d 03/30/1995) Eddie and his Dad were extremely close,

Eddie was Lester's world as his Dad was his.

From Alice Sue: My brother Lester was such a kind man. He use to pick up hitchhikes along the road, bring them home, let them sleep in his car and the next morning he would tell Mom he had friends sleeping in his car and she would make extra food for them. Lester would bring them down to the house, give them breakfast, coffee, money if he had it, even his clothes and then take them back and drop them off on the highway to continue along their way. I was always afraid for him doing that, but he never stopped. He never had much in his life but he cared about people and gave what he could of himself. Anita Kay was the love of his life, and their son Edward Paul was his world.

Lester and Little Eddie are both dearly missed by all who knew and loved them.
