Fred A. Trippett, 72, died yesterday at his home in Vienna. He was a retired lockman.
He was a member of the Masonic order, the Glendale Knights of Pythias of Charleston and the Two Ripple Baptist church in Wirt county.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ethel Bryan Trippett; three sons, Lt. Bernard Trippett of the Parkersburg fire department, Binford of New York City and Blaine of Tulsa, Okla.; three daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Sheets of Parkersburg, Mrs. Buelah Godby and Mrs. Betty Casey of Steubenville, O.; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Perty of Williamstown and Mrs. May StarK of Toledo, O., and 17 grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Kimes funeral home. Arrangements are incomplete.
