Nora K. Coldren, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Thursday at her home. She was born February 24, 1924, in Sunbury, PA, to the late Jacob W. and Nora Dyer Dietz.
She was a 1942 Graduate of Sunbury High School. Nora was a retired Executive Secretary for Cumberland Valley High School. She was a member of Silver Spring Presbyterian Church, Mechanicsburg. Nora was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph D. Coldren; her brother, George Dietz and two sisters Louise Sandra-Burns and Helen Plock.
She is survived by her husband of twenty-seven years, Terry Ford; two sons: Clinton W. Coldren of New Orleans; and Joseph A. Coldren of Lock Haven, PA; one brother, Walter Dietz of Camp Hill; and one sister, Mabel Snyder-Bricker of Glen Rock, PA; three grandchildren: Clinton C., Stephanie, and Brandon Coldren; two step-grandchildren: Richard and Christopher Thompson.
Funeral services will be held Monday January 28, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. from the Myers-Harner Funeral Home Camp Hill. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 A.M. untl time of service at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Pa. in memory of Nora K. Coldren, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
