A graveside service for Mr. Talley will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, at Liberty Wesleyan Church Cemetery with Rev. Danny Janes officiating.
A native of Stokes County, Bot was born on May 20, 1926, the son of the late Gabe and Elva Duggins Talley. Bot was an ardent walker and very health conscious. He enjoyed girls softball at Oak Ridge, NC and received #1 fan trophy. He spent the last six years at Blumenthal's Nursing and Rehab facility. Bot was very outspoken regarding his faith.
Bot is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Raleigh Talley, and sisters, Lois James and Louise Saunders.
