Charley A. Faulk III, 46, Topeka, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2001, at his home.
Mr. Faulk was a district representative for Baskin-Robbins for 20 years and covered Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma before he had to retired due to declining health in 1998.
He was born May 10, 1954, in Dallas, the son of Charley A. Faulk Jr. and Emma L. Martin Faulk. He was raised in Topeka and graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1972. He attended Washburn University.
Mr. Faulk was a member of Countryside United Methodist Church and a former member of the Topeka Bow Hunters Club. He was an avid outdoorsman.
He married Karen E. Kinyon on July 25, 1981, in Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Faulk, at home; his father, Charley A. Faulk Jr., Topeka; his mother, Emma Stiegemeyer, Topeka; two brothers, Robert M. Faulk and Greg D. Faulk, both of Topeka; and two sisters, LaVonna Faulk, Topeka, and Debby Boeh, Independence, Mo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Countryside United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mr. Faulk will lie in state after 3 p.m. today at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, where visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
