Adolph C. Epp, age 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013 at Memorial Community Care in Aurora.
Adolph, an only child to Cornelius C. and Sarah (Franz) Epp, was born on Nov. 22, 1920 on a farm south of Henderson, where he lived for 52 years. On March 4, 1949 he married Clara Friesen.

They were blessed with two daughters, Sharon and Janet. Clara passed away on Aug. 22, 1970. On Aug. 12, 1972 Adolph married Verna Kliewer and welcomed three more children; Betty Penner, Richard Kliewer and Ardean Kliewer into his family.

Adolph is survived by two daughters, Sharon and her husband David Orr of Lincoln and Janet and her husband Orin Kliewer of Aurora.

Also stepsons, Richard Kliewer of Hesston, Kan., Ardean Kliewer and his wife Jacki of Dent, Minn. and a step son-in-law John Penner and his wife, Sue of Colleyville, Texas. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Justin (Terri) Kliewer, David John (Erin) Orr and Sarah (Cody) Ridenour; four step-grandchildren, Sharon Penner, Donna (Mike) Cabaniss, Amy (Shaun) Nelson and Clint Kliewer; six great-grandchildren, Jacob, Brayden, Katelynn, Brynn and Bailey Kliewer and Eliott Ridenour and two step-great-grandchildren, Emma and Carter Nelson. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Clara; his second wife, Verna and stepdaughter Betty Penner.

Graveside services will be at 9:45 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 at the Mennonite Brethren Cemetery north of Henderson with memorial services following at 10:30 a.m. at the Mennonite Brethren Church.

Visitation will be on Saturday from 3-9 p.m. and Sunday from 1-9 p.m. at Metz Mortuary in Henderson. The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday evening.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mennonite Central Committee.
