Mrs. E. E. Leininger, 46, remembered in Lumberton as Miss Zera Blackwell, died early Saturday in a New Orleans hospital, and her body was taken to Hattiesburg for burial under the direction of Quigley's Funeral Home.
Services were held at the Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. John W. Moore, pastor of Main Street Methodist church, Hattiesburg. Interment was in Highland Park cemetery.
Pallbearers were H. L. Kelly, A. W. Sumrall, M. F. Hardy, P. R. Rawls, C. S. Davidson, P. A. Jordan, Otho Shows and Bill Proctor.
Mrs. Leininger is survived by her husband, five sisters, Mrs. Hattie Hardy and Mrs. Margaret Forkey, of Augusta, Ga., Mrs. F. D. Jordan of Hattiesburg, Mrs. Ida Ballinger, of Converse, Ind., and Miss Ruth Blackwell of Lafayette; four brothers, W. B. Blackwell of Brownsville, Texas, Horace T. Blackwell of Hattiesburg, J. T. Blackwell of Clarksdale, and A. J. Blackwell of Lumberton.
