Born in Bedford twp., he was a son of Lewis H & Mary Sharples Thomson, & was married Oct. 25, 1923 to Myrtle Palmer. After Juanita's drowning, Leonard remarried and is NOT buried here, as the gravestone appears to indicate. He is buried with his 2nd wife in Dayton, Ohio. This is a cenotaph
