Michael L. Losee
1950 - 2013
Michael L. Losee passed away on January 26, 2013, in Lake Shore, Utah, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. Michael was born on September 4, 1950. His parents are Owen Grant Losee and Berniece Porter Losee. He married Cheris Nelson they had three sons: Matt, Kurt, and Josh. Michael spent most of his life teaching and coaching his boys, and then later, being the best grandpa "Papa Los" a kid could ask for. Michael and Cheris divorced but remained good friends.
Michael is survived by the love of his life, Rochelle Bird, and her mother, Verla Dowley, of Lake Shore; his mother, Berniece Porter Losee of Spanish Fork; his three boys and four grandchildren: Matt and Candice and their children, Ashlyn and Treyven, of Lake Shore; Kurt, and his sons: Mason and Talon of Spanish Fork; and Josh of Lake Shore. Ex-wife Cheris Losee, of Lake Shore. Michael was big brother to five sisters, who also survive him: Marilyn (Jay) Middleworth, Connie (Ray) Christensen, Kristie (Phil) Bair, Sandy (Ron) Hitchcock, and Ona Dee (Wade) Cardon; He was preceded in death by his father, Owen G. Losee his nephew, Dax Christensen.
As per Michael's wishes family and close friends can gather for a funeral service Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Walker Funeral Home, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork. Interment will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery. The family would like to express their gratefulness to the Intermountain Home Care Staff.
