Harry L. Moon, 46, a resident here for 40 years, died Sunday at Colorado General Hospital in Denver after a sudden illness.
Mr. Moon was born on Jan.6, 1924 in Baca County near Holly. He had lived there as a small child, but had attended Montrose schools, graduating from high school here.
He was married to Helen J. Lowery at Ouray on June 8, 1946. She survives, as do his children Ray L., Kathy M., and Beverly J. Moon, all of Montrose; a sister and three brothers, including Howard and Lloyd Moon, both of Montrose.
Mr. Moon had been a truck driver for Jake Holzmeister and also for the Vanadium Corp. in Durango and in Grand Junction.
