Max was born January 9, 2010 on Pskov, Russia. He is survived by his parents Alan and Laura Shatto of Gardendale, TX ; brother: Kristopher Elvin Shatto of Gardendale, TX; maternal grandmother: Carlisle of Bossier City, LA; Sandi and Terry Lawson of Clay, LA; Ken and Dawn Blalock of Ruston, LA; Doug Worley of Castor, LA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston∼Max (Maksim Kuzmin and half-brother Kirill, whom parents renamed Max and Kristopher) was adopted in late 2012 by his parents, Alan and Laura Shatto. He lived with his family in Gardendale, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at Owens Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 2 PM with burial following at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Clay, LA. Rev. Frank Folino, O.F.M. of St. Thomas Aquinas will officiate. Max is survived by his parents, Alan and Laura Shatto, brother, Kristopher Shatto all of Gardendale, TX; maternal grandmother, Peggy Atkins Worley of Ruston, LA; uncles and aunts, John and Betty Carlisle of Bossier City, LA, Terry and Sandi Lawson of Clay, LA, Ken and Dawn Blalock of Ruston, LA, and Doug Worley of Castor, LA; his honorary aunts and uncles Kitty and Butch Redlund and Patti and Dwayne Wall of Ruston, LA as well as several great aunts, uncles, and cousins. Max was welcomed into Heaven by his paternal grandparents, Gary and Lucille Shatto and maternal grandfather, Douglas Worley. "Max, you were not with us long enough to leave fingerprints on the walls but you left fingerprints upon our hearts. When we get to Heaven, we know we will hear your sweet voice singing with the angels. We love you and will always miss you."
