Mrs. Florence Helen Unselt, 68, a resident since 1930, died at 3:42 a.m. at Medicenter.
Florence Helen James was born September 2, 1908 at Edwards, Colorado, where she spent her childhood and was educated.
She married Ray Unselt, December 14, 1827, at Pueblo, Colorado. He died November 9, 1970. Mr. Unselt had been a janitor at the Cooper Theatre.
Mrs. Unselt was a member of the LDS Church, Third Ward, in Grand Junction. She enjoyed crocheting and embroidery.
Survivors include two daughters, Helen Mae Unselt and Bertha Lee Unselt, both of Grand Junction; six son's Robert E. Unselt of El Paso, Texas, Albert Ray Unselt, of Salina, Kansas, George E. Unselt, of Ventura, California, Harmon C. Unselt of Fullerton, California, Carl E. Unselt of Fruita, Colorado, and Dale A. Unselt of Wichita, Kansas; eight sisters, Mrs. Viola Blair, Mrs. Hazel Lloyd, Mrs. Henry (Jenny) Lucas, and Mrs. Erma Rinderle, all of Grand Junction; Mrs. Ethel Morgan of Moab, Utah, Mrs. Bertha Bardsley of Englewood, Colorado, Mrs. Alice Carter of Canon City, Colorado, and Mrs. Humes of Salida, Colorado. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
