Funeral services over the body of James, three year old, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Abbott, were held Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the house, conducted by Rev. J. C. Haley, pastor of Stockton Street Baptist Church. Four little girls playmates of the little boy, acted as pall-bearers. The burial was in Maury Cemetery. The Times-Dispatch, Monday, July 25, 1910.
