MIDLAND-- Esta Mae Corbin Boyce, 90, formerly of Odessa and now of Midland, passed away Friday, Feb. 27, 2004, at her daughter's residence.

She was born April 15, 1913, in Carmen, Okla., to William Arthur and Nellie Zahn Corbin. She married Victor Boyce on Sept. 30, 1934, in Carmen. They were married 41 wonderful years. She was the "World's Perfect Mother," and a "Mother of Love."

She was a homemaker who loved to read, work crossword puzzles, crochet and enjoyed traveling. She also made many beautiful quilts.

She had dual memberships at First Christian Church of Odessa and First Christian Church of Midland. She was active in CWF in both churches.

She was also a member of the Eastern Star and the Ladies Oriental Shine and Beauceants. She was past president of The Special Order of Beauceants, past Worthy Mathron of O.E.S. and received a certificate of dedication for 50 years of service. She was past High Priestess of L.O.S.N.A. and a member of the Elderberries of Odessa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Boyce, in 1976; and her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2004, at the First Christian Church of Odessa with Dr. David Mindel and Dr. Tommy Potter officiating.

Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
