Mary Lou Pritchett Barnes, 77, of Toccoa, widow of James Lendsey Barnes, died Monday, June 12, 2006, at her home.
She was born June 14, 1928, in Franklin County, a daughter of the late John Thomas and Reba Pritchett. She was a member of the Church of the Nazerine and was a former nurse's aide.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Joan Barnes of Toccoa and Glenn and Linda Barnes of Carnesville; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Charlie Black of Toccoa; a sister, Edna Holcomb of Toccoa; a brother, George Pritchett of Carnesville; five grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Barnes, and sisters, Doris Thomas, Annie Ray Carey and Ruth Roach.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 14, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Whitlock Mortuary.
Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens.
