Carnesville - Thomas Junior "Jake" Carey, 80, of Carnesville, died Saturday, July 11, 2009. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2009, at Pruitt Funeral Home's Chapel. Interment will be in Franklin Memorial Gardens - North. Survivors include wife Annie Carey of Carnesville; step-daughters Patricia Carlisle and Joan Carey of Royston; sister Myrtle Whitworth of Gainesville; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston has charge of arrangements.
