Carol Jean Hudson, 71, of Chelyan, died January 25, 2013, at home.
She retired from Highland Hospital, Charleston.
She was preceded in death by parents, Howard and Ruth Thomas Bennett; and brother, Larry Bennett.
Surviving are her daughter, Lisa (John) Terry of Chelyan; sons, Paul "Pete" (Cheryl Baklarz) Hudson of Mooresville, N.C., Greg (Vicki) Hudson of Chelyan and John Hudson of Charleston; grandchildren, who she loved very much, Greg Hudson Jr., Jeremy Hudson and Jonathan Terry; great-grandson, who was the light of her life, Ethan Hudson; brothers, Calvin Bennett of Ansted and Robert Bennett of Cedar Grove; and sisters, Kathy Dempsey of Ansted and Robin Hatcher of Richmond, Va.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, with the Rev. Chuck Swiney officiating. Burial will follow in Bennett Cemetery, Saturday Road, Ansted.
