It is with great sadness that the family of Shelley Abbott announce her passing at Peterborough Regional Health Centre after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer on January 28, 2013 at the age of 53. Predeceased by her parents Jim Constable and Rose Ella Brethour. Left with fond and loving memories are husband Ben, her daughter Sara Lawton (Corey McIlmoyle) and her grandchildren Abigail and Chase. Dear sister of Danny Constable (Pauline), Linda Cassel (Bob) and Rosalind Nieman (Jerry). Shelley will be sadly missed by a very large circle of family and friends. Aunt Shelley will be sadly missed by Larry Cassel, Daniel Cassel, Shawn Gibson and Amber Constable. Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m Funeral Service to Celebrate Shelley's Life will be held on Saturday February 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Highland Park Funeral Centre.
