Noma Cowan Hoggard, 97, of Batesville died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Woodlawn Nursing Home.

She was born Monday, August 9, 1915 in Jessup, Arkansas and was the daughter of John W. Cowan and Nancy (Stalnaker) Cowan She was retired from International Shoe Company and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Diane McClure and her husband, Edward of Magness; three grandchildren: Bobby E. Hoggard of Batesville, Eddie McClure and his wife, Susie of Newark and Cathy McClure of Magness; five great-grandchildren: Cody Treadway, Zachary Spohr, Derek McClure, Marcus McClure and Nancy Doughty; one great-great-grandson, Cade Treadway; two nieces and one sister-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eules Hoggard, a son, Bobby J. Hoggard; one granddaughter, Sandra Spohr; four sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Hoggard officiating.

Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, great-grandsons, and great-granddaughter: Bobby E. Hoggard, Eddie McClure, Cody Treadway, Derek McClure, Zachary Spohr, Nancy Doughty and Marcus McClure.

There will be no visitation.
