Died at home. Daughter of Harry B. and Bertha (Dixon) Earley. She grew up in Garibaldi and graduated from Garibaldi High as class valedictorian in 1934. She attended a year of Bible college, then moved to Washington, D.C. After working for the government there for a time, she returned to Oregon. She met Leslie Linn in the early 1940s in Portland. They married in Portland on April 9, 1944, then moved to Dallas. Mrs. Linn worked for Capital Press in Salem for several years, then for Gerlinger Carrier Company in Dallas. She moved to McMinnville in 1971, working by turns for Linfield College and the News-Register. She owned and operated Linn's Answering Service during the 1970s. She enjoyed child evangelism and literacy programs. And she liked to play the piano. She was a member of the Evangelical Bible Church in Dallas and the Christian Church in McMinnville and served as secretary for the latter. She is survived by three sons, David of Dallas, William of McMinnville and Richard of Newport; a daughter, Mary of McMinnville; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1965 and by brother Judson Art Earley.
