Lafayette Ballengee one of the oldest and most respected farmers of this county died Monday morning at his home at Foss.
He was eighty four years of age and had been sick for some time. The deceased is survived by a large family of sons and daughters, his wife having died several years ago.
The funeral took place this morning at his late home and interment was in-made at the Miller graveyard at Foss. Several people went up from here to attend the funeral and burying. Undertakers Gott & Son had charge of the remains.
