BURLINGTON - Betty Jane Stevens-Delphia, 74, formerly of Barre, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, in Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington.
Born May 24, 1938, in Burlington, the daughter of Milo and Lottie (Weatherwax) Morehouse, and attended local schools.
She married Harry Stevens on Sept. 3, 1977, in Sheldon. After he died, she married Henry Delphia, who also predeceased her.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed cross-stitching, puzzles and fishing.
Survivors include five siblings, Robert, Donald, Gary, Pearl and Juanita; seven children, Dennis Morehouse, Marjorie Burns, Erwin "Rig" Stevens, Michelle Mulholland, Marie Stevens, Harry "Guy" Stevens, and Cindy Santamore; 19 grand- children, James, Tara, Candi, Amelia, Ejay, Harry, Carolyn, Jaden, Dylan, Ashton, Megan, Shaylyn, Aiden, Colton, Mike, Leroy, Paul, Sarah, and Tonya; 11 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by two sons, Michael and Harold Delphia; and brother, Milo Morehouse Jr.
The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, in Hope Cemetery in Barre.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St. in Barre.
