Joseph Frank Staff, of El Campo, passed away on February 1, 2013 at the age of 92. He was born on December 23, 1920 in Garwood to the late Frank Paul and Mary Wesselski Staff. He served in the US Army during WWII as German Interpreter for the Generals. He was a life-long farmer, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion Post 251.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Cecilia Hoffman Staff; sons Andrew Staff and Joseph Staff, Jr.; daughter Marcella Staff; sisters Tillie Janish and Clara Kasper; and brothers Clement, Daniel and Raymond Staff.

Graveside services with Military Honors will follow service under the auspices of the American Legion Post 251.
