Angie Kim Borromeo, 1958-2012, resident of Los Altos, passed away unexpectedly on February 6, 2012. Born on May 28, 1958, in Seoul, Korea, she and her family immigrated to the United States in 1971. She lived in San Diego and then in Monterey. After graduating from U.C. Berkeley, she received her Pharm.D. degree from U.C.S.F. She met the love of her life Ted in 1981, and they married in 1986. She was a proud and devoted mother to her talented children, Emily (a Brown graduate) and Brian (soon to be a Georgetown graduate). She worked as a Pharmacist at Kaiser Hospital in Fremont. Angie had a warm, loving nature and a wonderful sense of humor. She excelled at all she did and encouraged others to do the same. She loved and admired her extended family, who will dearly miss her. A vigil will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, February 10, at Spangler's Mortuary, Los Altos, and a funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, at St. Simon Church, Los Altos, followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
