Mrs. Mary Jane Wimsatt Gilmour, 64, died Saturday morning, Augusat 31, 1963, in a hospital in New York City, where she had been under treatment for several months for complicated troubles.
The body was sent to Hale & Polin Funeral Home in Springfield Sunday to await final rites, being viewed there by many friends.
The daughter of Irvin and Amelia Polin Wimsatt, both deceased, Mrs. Gilmour was born and spent her childhood here.
Surviving are a son, Dr. J. H. Gilmour, New York City; five brothers, James, Joe, and frank Wimsatt, all in Louisville; John and Dan Wimsatt, Detroit, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Anabelle Kilmartin, Detroit, and Sister Jacinta, Grand Island, Nebr.
The funeral was conducted at St. Rose Catholic Church near this city at 10 a.m. Wednesday, interment following in the family lot in the church cemetery. Six nephews served as casket bearers.
