Suggested edit: According the Early Settlers of Rowley, "He was of Bradford, 13 Feb., 1683-4, and of Littleton, about 1726." So John likely died in Littleton. No death date was known at this time. The last known transaction was "John Wood, Sr., deeded 7 March 1728/9 to Joseph Wood, carpenter both of the same place (Littleton)..." Richard and Josiah Wood witnessed this deed. All that is known is that John's date of death was after 7 March 1728/9.
