Everett Crews was born in 1874 in Jackson County and was a lifelong county resident.
He married Hanna Crawshaw in 1898. She preceded him in death in 1950. His children include Ardell, Denver, Ted and Delmar, all of Carbondale; Mrs. Lewis Lingle of Pontiac, Michigan; Miss Bessie Crews of Tucson, Arizona; Mrs. Clifton Baggett and Mrs. Archie Walter, both of Carbondale.
Mr. Crews was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Central Methodist Church near DeSoto. He died at the age of 80 at his Carbondale home.
