UTICA: A private graveside service for Alliene E. Thompson, 92, of Utica, will be held Friday at South Lawn Cemetery, Utica.
Alliene died March 21, 2011 at her residence. She was born May 6, 1918, in Franklin, PA to the late William and Grace (Neely) Exley. Alliene is a member of the Church of God.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Nolene and James Bremer of Bloomfield, IA, Barby and Don Travis of Vienna, MO, Colene and Dan Sayers and Beverly and Robert Kelley all of Newark, Rachel and Bobby Howell of Hickory, NC, Debbie and Timothy Wilson of Sylacauga, AL; son-in-law, Tim Lewis of St. Louisville; 35 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; 14 great great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Heffernan of Elyria.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Theodore W. Thompson who passed away February 4, 1993; daughter, Thea Lewis who passed away December 28, 2010; and brothers, George and William Exley.
